Have a jump-drive, thumb-drive, or USB drive for data storage? Then you know the importance of the files you keep on those drives! The most convenient thing about the jump-drive, thumb-drive, & USB drive is the ability to transport it with important data. This is also what makes it the most accident prone data storage device! Because they are portable the USB drive or the laptop can be dropped. Machines with USB ports on the floor or edge of the desk allow the USB drive to easily be bumped. Worse case scenerio, you plug your jump-drive, thumb-drive, or USB drive into your laptop, & it doesn't recognize it. Restarting the computer does not solve the situation. Even plugging it into another computer does nothing! Even if you have tried the install hardware wizard on Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7 & came up with nothing, you are about ready to throw in the towl & give up on your data. I'll bet you have important files on this thumb drive that are just not replaceable!

There are three levels of support & pricing for Jump-Drive, Thumb-Drive, or USB Drive data recovery :

1. Base Repair : $75
A base repair would cover a situation where just the USB port has broken away from the board, & no further board work would be required.
2. Trace Repair : $125
In the event that more than just the port is damaged, there could be lifted pads or broken traces in the PCB.
3. TSOP Repair : $165
Should the PCB become so badly damaged we can remove the actual storage chip & read it with a TSOP surface mount IC package reader.

It is important to note that these are not combined prices. You will only pay the price of the service that is required to recover the data from your Jump-Drive, Thumb-Drive, or USB drive.

The return cost is covered by us & we will insure your unit up to $1250.

Once your unit arrives, we will call & E-mail you with the ticket number & estimated time of repair.

After we complete your laptop we will call for payment arrangements & return of the unit. We accept Paypal, Master Card, Visa, American Express or Personal Check.
